....I'm in the middle of a journal entry, but I just got a call back from the center and they said my mom tested positive for covid 💀💀💀 I was there yesterday and I didn't have a mask. Nor did she, and I had kissed her (on the cheek)... and well... I never had the vax... I dutifully wore my mask and pestered my mom to wear hers until I found it safe to go without it. I should have had one there I suppose... (the lady at the desk did say the nurses probably would give me one, but I never asked for one either)... so they called and told me to quarantine for 10 days... and uh... well, it was just to inform me of my mom and what I could do for myself etc. I'm kind of frightened now...
My mom luckily has had the vax and the booster so she won't get hit with it hard... my only concern for her honestly would be brain fog cuz she suffers a lot with it already. But of course, I'm still a little worried anyway for her ;_;
Let's just hope I don't come down with it or at the very least get bad or lengthy symptoms from it because I never got the shot. 1.) I fucking hate needles bro 2.) I feel they are too dismissive over negative symptoms people have had with the shot or booster, like women, even postmenopausal women getting their periods again or younger women having missed cycles or weird symptoms and WHO trying to say it's just stress. My aunt who stopped getting her period because of cancer got it again and said it made her an antivaxxer lol it's like you know... just be honest about this stuff?
But anyway... I was thinking about getting it recently, despite these things, but I guess I'm too late. ):
