So today around 6 I actually decided to go for a walk. I thought it'd be warmer out at 50 degrees but as I walked away from our house I started having regrets but figured it'd be good if I got out anyway.
So I went and walked down to the snack bodega in the town over, which I've been meaning to check out for ages. There's all kinds of snacks which was cool, but it was a bit jarring due to the music being played in the store. I didn't get anything but maybe next time!
I decided to keep walking forward, ending up at the mini plaza with the icecream station and small supermarket. They have some kind of chicken and sushi place where (K?)pop groups were being displayed on a trajectory against the wall as people sat and ate. The sushi there looked pretty okay so maybe I'll get something from there sometime. I didn't go into the ice cream parlor 'cause it was crowded and I feel awkward/anxious in crowded places.
So... I started heading back, but by then I felt really, really cold (even from the point walking through the parking lot my face felt frozen) so I decided to head into the dollar store where the bank used to be. Originally, I just wanted to warm up in there, but they had all kinds of goodies and all sorts of things so I decided to look around. It was almost like a smaller walmart but with food.
I get myself some chocolate & soda and pay for them before heading back out into the cold. By then, I was surprised to find it was blue hour and remarked to myself how dark it was as I walked back. (I had seen a pretty sunset on the way to the other place so, not that surprising). It got darker and darker the nearer I drew to my house, but I had to sit in the park on the benches because my hip on the right side was hurting. (I had tried to push something too heavy with that side of my body a few days ago, so I hope that doesn't lead into problems down the line <<;) but it was nice because I could relax and take sips of my soda.
I finally get back and find my mother asleep. When she woke up, she hadn't even noticed I was gone. (Here I was a bit worried she might be, since if I do go out, I've never stayed 'til after dark).
