Last night my uncle (my great uncle?) passed away from a condition he had. When my grandparents used to take us to visit my grandma's side of the family, he would always give me money and hugs and play with me. He was a nice person (...).
I thought it was gonna be tonight, but it looks like his wake is gonna be tomorrow evening. My grandma and aunt want to know if I'll come and I know I should, but wakes skeeve me out and I don't really want to deal with the stress of a long drive (needing to pee and all, that kind of anxiety). On top of that, I don't have anything to wear. Just that stupid purple shirt and greyish pants. Not really suited for a wake.
I'm sad for him that he passed, but I'm not sad-sad like I was about g-pa. I haven't seen him in years. Grandma sounds sad... I should return her call.
